It turns out that one of the bugs caused by the firmware update is affecting the charging battery process, as many users confirmed in Microsoft's Community forums that the Surface Pro 2 won't charge properly. As you have probably heard, the firmware update rolled out by Microsoft for Surface Pro 2 tablets this month caused quite a lot of issues, so Redmond decided to pull the patch until they develop a stable version.
